Here is my latest (and in my opinion finest) iteration of the man-on-a-bike theme.  This one uses a nice balance of aluminum and brass parts.  The wooden stand is for display purposes,  The piece balances without it (barely).

Materials:

Brass lamp pieces, garlic press, bicycle brake parts, film editing machine parts, boat motor parts, erector set chain and sprockets, aluminum flywheels.
