In this historical scene we see soldiers being indoctrinated with an experimental form of hypnotic broadcast.  Don’t stare at the screen too long or you will find yourself hating an enemy that doesn’t exist anymore.

The screen effect is achieved by sliding two pieces of polarized plastic back and forth across one another.
