Applied Kinetic Arts show in S.F. Nov 21

Applied Kinetic Arts is the name that my friend and technical advisor (or “fairy tech father” as I like to call him) CTP and I have given to ourselves and other artists whom we feel share similar approaches to art making.  In the interest of spreading awareness of what we do and providing a sense of cohesiveness to our movement, I contrived for us to show together at the Y2Y gallery in San Francisco.  Our first venture of this kind was at this years Maker Faire in San Mateo.  With this next step we are moving into a more specifically art centered environment. It is our hope to continue to put on more exhibits in this vein over the years, gradually taking on more members and filling larger venues.  The participating artists for this show are:

Nemo Gould

Reuben Margolin

Christopher Palmer

Mark Galt

Benjamin Cowden

I have a great deal of respect for each of these artists individually and I’m honored to be showing with them.  As this is a relatively small space, each of us will only be contributing a few pieces.  I will be bringing my Giant Squid sculpture as well as a few wall hanging pieces including one new one made specifically for this show.

Please help spread the word, and come by if you can.
